Javista ~~ through all your phases I will always love your staff your ambiance and your most delicious coffee! You all have been my number one before coffee was so popular. Thank you for keeping your roots, thank you to the wonderful owner. You all have my heart with the art and community you bring together.

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning and it was delicious! I got an iced matcha latte. It was presweetened, but not too sweet at all. My husband has the macchiato, which was a classic macchiato and he enjoyed it very much. To eat, we each had bagels. My husband had the lox bagel and I had the garden bagel. They were both absolutely delicious, with super fresh ingredients. The store itself was nice, with indoor and outdoor seating. If you plan to stay you can get your food and drinks served in real dish ware, or you can get it in to go containers. My only issue is that it took a long time for us to get both our drinks and our food, despite the store not being very busy when we got there. Overall, a great place to stop for a casual breakfast.

Solid spot for drinks and pastries. Their golden milk/turmeric lattes are some of the best--rich, perfectly spiced, and so comforting. The fruit tarts are also delicious (though once I did find a wasp under a raspberry, which was definitely a fluke). I wouldn't recommend the sandwiches--I tried a veggie one, and the ingredients were so slippery that the bread completely fell apart. Not worth it. The location used to be tough to find, and the surrounding area in Hollywood isn't the best, but I think they've moved, which should make it easier to access. If you're looking for a great latte and a pastry, this place is worth a visit!

The Mortadella sandwich is a must!! It's mortadella, cheese, fresh tomato slices, pesto, and lettuce on a crusty toasted ciabatta. Paired with a cappuccino it's perfection. I also tried the ham and cheese croissant-- a bit too greasy but still good! Lots of seating, good WiFi, and a solid place to bring a laptop and get work done.

OK so I did go back sans dogs, to check out breakfast. I don't do bagels and do not know how anyone can eat them honestly, but they offer a breakfast burrito. Obviously had to get that. Burritos are just the best food ever I can't explain it. You know when you order it you shouldn't finish it because it's always like 2000 calories but you can't help it :') It's just a fun monstrosity to conquer, even if it isn't all that spectacular flavor-wise. Which this was not, but it was big and fun to eat. Like I said other all-day breakfast options include bagels, avocado toast (what simpleton made this a "thing"), other avocado items, a chia parfait (which I don't eat solely because they get stuck in your teeth), and some yucky protein bowl that sounds like my mom would make me eat "for health reasons" (consisting of hard-boiled eggs, hummus, and cucumbers). The salads look pretty basic for lunch as far as other menu options go but honestly the only other stuff I'd try is the sugar. Just saying what everyone's thinking. You can get sandwiches made as salads though which is nice. Might try that and be on my way to the next new cafe after I've conquered this very standard menu. The only non-meat/cheese/veg basic combo seems to be the one with French brie and fig jam though. Ambience same as last time with graffiti decor outside. Sadly my doggies didn't get to join me this time because the neighborhood stresses them out.

Spacious cafe; there's even a stage in the middle for live performances/stand up. I love the keto sugar free caramel latte! Stoked they have soymilk; seems like most cafes in LA do not. My boyfriend tried the honey lavender latte but the lavender taste was overwhelming. We also tried the nutella mocha & it was more on the bitter side. We'll gladly keep returning for the keto latte. :) Street parking only.

I would come back to try more drinks! Food is a bit more on pricier side but it is in the heart of LA after all. Nice open concept vibe! I also asked one of the baristas if they host open mic there since there was a stage, but they said that it is not part of the coffee shop :( Hopefully one day because it would be sick looking venue with lots of space! *WAIT TIME- arrived a little before 2:30 pm on a Friday and there was no one else in line. Not sure how busy it gets in the morning but *AMBIANCE- lots of open space and light! Felt like a giant loft. Versatile vibes- fitting to do homework, work, catching up with a friend/s, or just relax enjoying a cup of coffee! *QUALITY- ordered their Iced Nutella Latte and would get it again! Excited to try other flavors though :) Didn't get to try any of their hot foods or salads, but will update if I end up doing so in the future. *CUSTOMER SERVICE- great! Both baristas were friendly and welcoming. *RESTROOM- not gender neutral. Separate gendered restrooms with multiple stalls. Pretty clean inside *OUTDOOR SEATING- yes, a few tables with chairs on the sidewalk *PARKING- can be tough to find depending on what time you go. Metered street parking available outside of 3-6 pm!
